| Revelation 13 | Interpretation: The Apostle John is using terms from the Greek language and meaning of his time ( approx. 80A.D.) to describe things and events that he saw and witnessed from the 21 st Century. This is a possible "scatology" or interpretation of future events. |
1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as [the feet] of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.
3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.
4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who [is] like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty [and] two months.
6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.
7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
| "stood upon the sand of the sea" -Rivera or Beach Front overlooking the ocean , possible the Mediterranean Sea since this is the focal point and location of much of the activity that John wrote about in later chapters.
"and saw a beast rise up out of the sea" - Beast Of The Sea - Naval or Military System Alliance consisting of probable forces from the European Community [EC] and G7 [Group of Seven] Industrialized Countries

The name of blasphemy - The European Emblem is SYMBOLICDESCRIPTION Against the background of blue sky, twelve golden stars form a circle, representing the union of the peoples of Europe. The number of stars is fixed, twelve being the symbol of perfection and unity ["man" or people's perfection: Genesis describes Satan's temptation, the fall of the human race, and the Babel story]. This is a HERALDIC DESCRIPTION depicted on an azure field (background) with a circle of twelve golden mullets, their points are not touching. In 1986, the European Council adopted the flag that has become the emblem of the European Union.
Feet of a Bear Mouth of a Lion = loud, roaring noise,mighty and powerful in nature
One of the members of the Group of Seven [G7] countries forces and its fleet [possible a large naval ship or aircraft carrier with an escort fleet] is attacked by military or terrorist forces under the rule and control of the Anti-Christ. The Anti-Christ demonstrates his military power against this country which is wavering in their allegiance to the rule and objectives of the Anti-Christ. The governmental authority of the Anti-Christ does rebuild the country. The country survives this naval military attack, and joins the movement and governmental order of the Anti-Christ.
The attack on one of the G7 countries naval vessels will reveal the military and ruthless power of the Anti-Christ which is under the demonic control of Satan [dragon], all countries begin worshiping the Anti-Christ and Satan due to this powerful military system and military alliance that the Anti-Christ has coordinated. This naval military system will be powerful, global in reach and operations, and swift in response.
The Anti-Christ deliveries numerous speeches outlining his military, economic, and world-order plans for a unified world, and unified religion under his dominion that condemns God The Father, God The Son.
He continues his reign and work toward these objectives for 42 months, or 3 ½ years into the first part of the seven year Tribulation Period. This further shows that the Tribulation Period will be divided into two distinct periods of 3 ½ years each for a total of seven years all inclusive.
During his 3 ½ year reign, the Anti-Christ makes it very clear that he is against God and God The Son; the Lord Jesus Christ, and the heavenly kingdom. He also, defiles the temple an breaks his covenant and agreements with the Nation Of Israel, thereby fulfilling the prophecies of Daniel regarding the Abomination of Desolation of God’s earthly tabernacle [temple] spoken of by Daniel in Daniel:27 [ Mt. 24:15, 2Thess. 2:3-4]
Make war against the saints - During this tribulation period individuals will come to know the Lord Jesus Christ as their savior. This process will happen either out of love for the Lord Jesus Christ, or out of fear of the Anti-Christ, Satan, or eternal damnation in the Lake Of Fire. Through whatever means that people become Christians [saints], the Anti-Christ will actively seek them out using all possible means of intelligence gathering [electronic, spies, interrogation, torture, and military] in order to eradicate them from the face of the Earth and his domain.
